One common misconception that people have about the suburbs is that it is impossible to live there if you are not wealthy. It is true that the Deerfield is an affluent city, but there are still many residents at different points of the socio-economic spectrum.

There are many high priced, large, luxurious homes, but there are also plenty of smaller houses, condos, and apartments.

It is even possible to own a small to mid-sized home in close proximity to the large homes. Many people don’t realize that the kind of lifestyle they are after is often more accessible than they think. When I first started evaluating Deerfield homes I was surprised to learn about the diversity of price ranges in a small area. One block might be filled with million dollar homes, and a half mile away you will find homes for a fraction of the price.

Before you decide that the house and the area that you want to live in are out of your financial range, do some research. There are plenty of resources to help you find the home that you want.
