Big City People Love Quaint Deerfield, IL
I moved to Deerfield, IL several years ago after I got married. My husband grew up there and he decided that’s where he wanted to settle and raise a family. I grew up in Brooklyn so I was used to a completely different atmosphere. I still remember the very first time I set my eyes on Deerfield. I was pleasantly shocked.
felt like I had just stepped on to the set of a John Hughes movie. I was amused when my husband told me that several of his favorite movies had actually been filmed in the area. How quaint! I immediately fell in love with the small city. It’s gorgeous, and exactly as my husband had described. I thought he was exaggerating, but he clearly was not
The homes in Deerfield are the homes American dreams are made of. They have big airy rooms, high ceilings and plush, green lawns. It was difficult deciding on a home. There were small charming family homes, and big spacious houses. We opted for a midsize home, which we found on www.realestateindeerfieldil.com. Whenever I call my friends in Brooklyn they always ask me if I miss home. I always tell them I couldn’t be any happier in Deerfield.
